- Uterine sacral ligament (uterosacralligaments, recto-uterineligaments), is one of the main ligaments of the uterus.
- Rectal uterine folded tissue contains a series of fibrous tissue and non-striped muscle fibers that attach to the front of the sacrum and form the uterine-sacral ligament. This ligament links the uterus to the sacrum.
The pelvic splanchnic nerve is located at the upper edge of this ligament.
