It is mainly found in adult granulosa cell tumors (, can occur at any age), and juvenile granulosa cell tumors (about 5%, extremely high malignancy, mainly in adolescents) rarely have this body. Therefore, the presence or absence of Call-Exner bodies can be used as one of the identification points for two types of granular cell tumors.
