The major of automation is based on the emerging cross-cutting disciplines such as system science, control science, and information science, and advanced technologies such as electrical technology, electronic technology, sensing technology, computer technology, and network technology as the main technical means to achieve the Interdisciplinary comprehensive specialties such as motion control, process control of various production processes, and optimization of various systems.

Automation Professional

This specialty cultivates the comprehensive development of morality, intelligence, and physical fitness, has a solid natural science foundation, and has a good application foundation in computer, foreign languages, economics, management, etc .; has electrical and electronic technology, control theory, automatic detection and instrumentation, information processing, High-quality application-oriented professionals with expertise in systems engineering, computer technology, and applications.

Students majoring in this major mainly study electrical technology, electronic technology,

Circuit,

Before the founding of the People's Republic of China, there were electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and other disciplines in China. There is no word for automation and no similar profession.

After liberation, the state began to learn the professional settings of the Soviet Union, which facilitated industrialization. New China has established many industrial enterprises through its own construction and Soviet assistance.

Automation is the science and technology of automatic, intelligent, autonomous, efficient and safe operation of artificial and natural systems. As an important part of information science, automation focuses on intelligent systems, with "system theory, cybernetics, and information theory" as its core, and is widely used in core areas of national strategy, such as intelligent manufacturing, intelligent robotics, aerospace, economics and finance, and cyberspace . Automation is a vital subject and one of the important signs of modern human civilization.

Since the 21st century,

1. Process control direction: Supported by automatic control and computer technology, realizing automatic control for the actual industrial production process, consisting of signal detection and conversion, process control, computer control system, intelligent control, and on-site general route control technology.
